I’ve been thinking about Abraham a lot lately. Have you ever wondered how he was able to leave everything behind when God first called him? To walk away from what was probably a nice comfortable life and leave behind everything familiar, home, friends and family? How God asked him to risk it all and go to a new place He would show him? To trust completely and step out of the boat? Cast it all on Him? Somehow, Abraham discovered a precious secret. What I like to call….
March was a busy month of posts and recipes. I was privileged to speak about The God Dare at a women’s conference in Alabama and traveled to Nashville a few times to visit family. And, it was a busy month of writing! I’m happy to say, The God Dare is just about finished and should be out around Mother’s Day!

Job is the one character, the one book, most of us wish was not in the bible. We don’t ever want to consider his lot falling to us. Don’t even go there. It’s a hard story with hard truth and some of it is hard to grasp. But, The God Dare is in the Job story too. Job was one of the biblical ‘good guys’ in fact he was,
“..blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.” Job 1:1.
