Nothing says good old Italian comfort food like a steaming bowl of Chicken Cacciatore over warm pasta, dusted with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Every Italian cook has their own version of this classic chicken dish. It’s savory, falling off the bone delicious and oh-so-easy to prepare. The perfect supper for a cold winter’s night. Plus, your house will smell fantastic while it’s cooking. (Excuse me while I lick my fingers.) Salud!

Italian Wedding Soup
Baby, it’s cold outside and nothing warms us up like a steaming bowl of simple but rich and flavorful Italian Wedding Soup. This soup is super easy to make. You can start it at 5 and have it on the table by 6. Light yet filling and full of healthy greens. And the cutest little meatballs you’ve ever seen. In fact, if you have kids, they will love helping with this. Enjoy it with some crusty Italian bread and a big salad. Salud!
Italian Meatballs and Spaghetti Sauce
My family’s recipe for wonderful homemade Italian meatballs and sauce. Easy and delicious and authentically Italian! Loaded with cheese and garlic, (and a secret ingredient) these meatballs will delight your tastebuds and have your family begging for more!
Chicken Vesuvio
The first time we ate Chicken Vesuvio, Mike and I were in Chicago on tour and we discovered this wonderfully fragrant and incredibly rich chicken dish in a little Italian restaurant on Rush Street. We were completely smitten and probably returned to indulge in Chicken Vesuvio a dozen times over two months! The chicken was loaded with flavor, the potatoes roasted golden and there were soft pieces of garlic to slather on each bite. Heaven!
