So, here’s an indulgence that will make you and the ones you love happy! Oh, and if you’ve never tried panko bread crumbs, they make a really light and crispy coating. No heavy batter on these shrimp. Just lightly dust shrimp with flour, dip in beaten eggs then dip into panko bread crumbs and sweet coconut. If you make them, let me know how they come out!
Classic Recipes
Chicken Cacciatore
Nothing says good old Italian comfort food like a steaming bowl of Chicken Cacciatore over warm pasta, dusted with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Every Italian cook has their own version of this classic chicken dish. It’s savory, falling off the bone delicious and oh-so-easy to prepare. The perfect supper for a cold winter’s night. Plus, your house will smell fantastic while it’s cooking. (Excuse me while I lick my fingers.) Salud!
Sweet and Spicy Apple Butter
Fall is in the air. Leaves are turning, apples are ripe for the picking, pumpkins appear on doorsteps. It’s the season for all things apple!
I adore apple butter and I’ve discovered how really easy it is to make. What I love about this recipe, other than the warm fragrance of apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves filling your kitchen, is the fact you don’t have to peel a single apple. When you’re staring 6 pounds of apples in the face believe me, you’ll be glad not to have to peel them!

Fresh Blueberry Muffins
Nothing beats fresh blueberry muffins in the morning. Easy, delicious and satisfying, your family will be delighted!
